In its 48th year, the Boston Marriott Newton Hotel announced the completion of an extensive, multi-million dollar interior renovation. The large-scale renovation was started nearly a year ago. The hotel is operated by TPG Hotels & Resorts, the hospitality management affiliate of Procaccianti Companies, and owned by Chesapeake Lodging Trust.
The renovation encompasses all 430 guestrooms—including a unique bi-level presidential suite—as well as a fully refurbished lobby, guest corridors, all meeting rooms, and a 9,000 square foot Grand Ballroom. The Atlanta-based interior design firm, Design Directions International led the hotel's renovation.
All rooms and suites come with a 50-inch flat screen TV, an executive workstation, Wi-Fi access, mini-refrigerators, in-room safe, and coffee maker. In addition to its deluxe accommodations, the hotel offers a newly-redesigned Concierge Lounge on the 7th floor that caters to the busy business traveler. The Presidential Suite may very well be what sets the hotel apart from its competitors with its bi-level room layout with floor to ceiling windows looking out to the Charles River.
