Lotus Hospitality held a ribbon-cutting ceremony and luncheon celebrating its opening of the brand new Hampton Inn & Suites hotel in Rocky Hill, Connecticut.
With 90 guest rooms and suites, the hotel features a fresh and comfortable design along with amenities every traveler wants, including free Wi-Fi and complimentary hot breakfast. There is also meeting space for up to 50, an on-site fitness center, an indoor saline swimming pool and a patio with fireplace for guests to enjoy.
“We designed the hotel to meet the needs of today’s travelers and to provide an inviting, functional and fun experience for every guest,” said Gaurang “Gary” Desai, president of Lotus Hospitality.
Located in the Hartford South region of Connecticut, the hotel is convenient to Downtown Hartford, Middletown and Glastonbury, as well as Wesleyan University, Trinity College and the University of Hartford. The brand new Hampton Inn & Suites is nearby the North American headquarters of consumer giant Henkel Corporation in addition to Optum, Arburg, Eversource, Burris Logistics, Hartford and Saint Francis Hospitals, Corporate Ridge office park and the I-91 Tech Center.

The ribbon cutting was attended by representatives of Hilton Hotels, State Representative Antonio Guerrera, State Senator Paul Doyle and Governor Dannel Malloy, along with several other local officials, business leaders and family and friends of the developer.
